Staying on International Drive or I-drive for short ensures
you’re right in the heart of all the action and it’s not hard to see why holidaymakers
flock to these miles of fun filled drive lined with super-sized restaurants, shopping
malls, cinemas and world class attractions.
Eating out here is half the fun, all your fast food favourites
are here including the world’s biggest McDonalds, enjoy buffets at Ponderosa and
Sizzlers or head to Sand Lake road, known as Restaurant row for some fine dining
and more trendy restaurants.
For those not wishing to drive then I-drive should be where
you’re heading, you can walk to plenty of the drives attractions and to plenty of
bars and restaurants including a handful British and Irish pubs, some showing live
Premier League football.
Most of the hotel offer shuttles to the areas major attractions,
the I-drive trolley is a great way to get around.
Shopping? Well you’ve plenty here to keep the most ardent
shopaholic busy, Belz factory outlet world, the Mercado Centre and Pointe Orlando
will keep those shoppers busy for hours on end.
And as for the attractions, well there’s plenty here including
the big ones like Universal Studios, Wet ‘n Wild, Sea World and Discovery Cove.
But you’ll also find plenty of others like Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum and
the wacky Wonderworks.

Discovery Cove

come close to Sharks and Barracuda (safely housed behind glass partitions) and explore
a sunken shipwreck. Serenity Bay is where you can enjoy an oversized pool or relax
on the sandy beaches but the highlight is dolphin lagoon, for a one-on-one swim
